Hello everyone hope you all had a nice chrismas
i wanted to ask if any one has had a high C.R.P reading at there regular blood tests
my last C.R.P. reading was 361 my g.p phoned me to ask to come down to see him when i went down he checked my chest and asked if my pains were any worst than usual which the werent he then send me to A+E i then spend the night in hospital but i am know the wiser why my CRP was so high just wondered if anybody else ever had this Confused

Hello

I have had CRP up there- but only in serious infections. Normally kidney ones with me! other serious illness can cause it I know.

Sometimes a flair can put it up.

Normal range for CRP is around 5.

mine is always raised with the RA. never been down there since dx.

had my bloods done yesterday so the must be ok otherwise i would have heard from my G.P today
